Rackmount Power Distribution Units (PDUs) are used to distribute power to racks where multiple outlets are necessary. Beyond the capabilities of a power strip, a rack PDU offers a range of intelligent features to help control the power distributed to IT equipment in your critical facility.

Basic PDU

Simple, reliable power distribution to equipment in your cabinets. This level of functionality is appropriate if the unit is attached to a rackmount UPS or in data center applications where rack-level monitoring is not required.

Metered PDU

Distributes network-grade power and meters load in amps to prevent overloads and help users optimize load levels. Select a metered PDU when networking of PDUs isn’t an option.

Monitored PDU

CEG offers a variety of PDUs that not only deliver network-grade power, but also have monitoring capabilities – from aggregate data about a whole strip down to outlet-by-outlet insight. With this information, data center operators can identify areas to improve power usage as well as prevent downtime due to overloads.

Switched PDU

Allows users to control outlets individually or collectively, and with its local and remote monitoring capabilities, users have insight into total power usage. Select a switched PDU if you need to remotely turn power on or off at each outlet.

Rack ATS

CEG offers metered and switched Auto Transfer Switches (ATS). Both have all the features of a metered PDU or switched PDU, plus the ability to connect separate power sources to single-corded connected equipment. This adds a valuable level of redundancy for legacy power generation equipment.
