Rack-level Cooling Solutions for Edge Environments

For years, managers of smaller edge environments such as server rooms, network closets, SMEs, have struggled with how to protect critical IT equipment without sacrificing valuable floor space. Cooling solutions either lacked the needed capacity, were difficult to manage remotely, or were simply too large. Today, CEG offers a wide range of rack-level cooling solutions that are suitable for small spaces.

Self-contained Rack Enclosures

Aurora Rack

As part of our custom capabilities, CEG offers a self-contained rack enclosure system that may be the smart choice for your Edge applications, server closets or small room environment.

Also known as a Micro Datacenter, this pre-integrated system easily deploys in weeks and can be installed in hours. CEG has several sizes and two voltages (120V or 208V) to choose from. This plug-and-play enclosure integrates power distribution, up to 3.5 kW of cooling, and embedded monitoring software. Our self-contained cooling systems are a speedy, cost-effective solution for your remote IT environments.

Rear Door Heat Exchangers

Aurora Rack

Adding targeted cooling is more cost-efficient than trying to lower the temperature of an entire data center. Rear door heat rejection specifically addresses the issue of higher heat loads generated by tightly packed rack enclosures.

A rear door heat exchanger is mounted directly to the back of any standard server rack and provides 35kW of high-density cooling. By removing the heat load at its source, a rear door heat exchanger ensures that all heat being generated by the servers is neutralized before it leaves the cabinet.
