Basic PDUs

Server Technology Basic Rack PDU

Server Technology’s Basic PDUs provide reliable power distribution for all devices in your equipment cabinet and ranges in power from 2kW-6kW per cabinet. Basic PDUs are available in single-phase 110-120V or 208-240V power distribution with 20A or 30A options and 3-Phase power distribution with 20Aand 30A options. CEG can provide customers with all types of Server Tech Power Distribution Units.

Metered PDUs

Server Technology Metered Rack PDU

If you’re looking for reliable power distribution for all the devices located in your equipment cabinet, Server Technology’s metered PDUs might be the perfect, affordable solution. Server Tech’s metered PDUs are available in single-phase 110-120V or 208-240V or 3-Phase power distribution with 20A, 30A, 50A, or 60A options. These metered PDUs feature local input current monitoring, which allow you to verify the aggregated load on the outlet’s circuit or phase.

Auto-flip current displays help prevent overloads and simplify three-phase load balancing in high density cabinets, while an optional flexible mounting ensures allows you to mount the PDU in standard or custom brackets. With branch circuit protection, Sever Technology’s metered PDUs are perfect for a range of equipment cabinets, from 2kW-22kW. CEG can provide customers with all types of Server Tech Power Distribution Units.

Monitored PDUs

Server Technology Smart Rack PDU

Easy to use and access, Smart PDUs from Server Technology offer input current monitors on easy-to-view LED via network or serial connection. These PDUs feature branch circuit protection and are available in a variety of voltages and amperages.

Server Tech’s Smart PDUs are guaranteed secure and feature external authentication and authorization support, while SNMP traps provide automated alerts surrounding each outlet’s power and environmental conditions. Optional temperature and humidity probes, with 10 ft. cords, offer flexibility in terms of sensor placement. CEG can provide customers with all types of Server Tech Power Distribution Units.

  • Simple to use, easy to access, secure, integral HTML Web GUI over HTTP/S, plus LDAP/S and TACACS+ external authentication and authorization support.
  • SNMP traps for automated alerts related to power and environmental conditions. Also features event notification via Syslog and email.
  • Three-Phase products sport a separate LED for each phase for easier load balancing.
  • Available in 120/208/230/400/415 V, 16A/20/30/32/60/63A, single-phase and three-phase.

Server Technology Smart POPS Rack PDU

Smart POPS PDUs feature highly accurate, outlet-level power monitoring and are designed with expandability in mind. Expansion PDUs may be used to provide full access to all power feeds under a single IP address. SNMP trap email automated alerts provide consistent insight into your outlet’s power levels and surrounding conditions.

With Per Outlet Power Sensing, each unit provides measurements for loads (amps), voltage (V), active power (W), apparent power (VA), crest factor, power factor and energy power consumption. Smart POPS PDUs feature built-in LED current monitors, which include an Ethernet, serial and temperature/humidity monitoring port, while optional temperature and humidity probes on 10 ft. (3 m) cords allow for measurements to be taken in different locations within the cabinet. CEG can provide customers with all types of Server Tech Power Distribution Units.

Switched PDUs

Server Technology Switched Rack PDU

Switched PDUs are designed to be perfect for all environments that require power + environmental monitoring, power-up sequencing, rebooting, scheduling power loads, and interoperability with Server Technology’s Sentry Power Manager software for data centers. These Switched PDUs have been especially useful in rapidly growing environments, such as those found in colocations.

Server Technology Switched PDUs can be purchased with its High Density Outlet Technology (HDOT) and Alternating Phase technology. With HDOT, you get the highest outlet count in the most compact form factor of any PDU on the market. Alternating phase outlets alternate the phased power on a per-outlet basis rather than a per-branch basis. This design allows for shorter cords, faster installation and easier load balancing for 3-phase rack mount PDUs.

  • Power monitoring per inlet/infeed.
  • Power information per infeed includes current, voltage, power, apparent power, crest factor, reactance, power factor and accumulated energy.
  • Accessed through either a secure network or serial connection.
  • A secure integral web interface provides a simple and easy way to monitor the PDU. Configuration choices include: SNMP traps, email alerts, grouping, and all security and communication settings.

Server Technology Switched POPS Rack PDU

Server Technology’s family of Switched Per Outlet Power Sensing Rack PDUd feature highly accurate, outlet-level power monitoring for your data center power needs. Switched POPS Rack PDUd are expandable and offer optional temperature and humidity probes. They also feature rack level power management, input power monitoring, environmental (temperature and humidity) monitoring, outlet groups and alarms.

With Per Outlet Power Sensing, you can see measurements for load (in amps), voltage, active power, apparent power, crest factor, power factor and power consumption (measured in W-hrs). Certain models also feature retractable fuse or breaker branch circuit protection. With POPS technology, outlets may be linked to one or multiple groups without loss of control of that individual outlet. SNMP trap email alerts give you automated warnings for power and environmental conditions.

POPS units are also expandable, with the ability to add additional outlets through the link unit without additional IP address. The optional humidity and temperature probes are attached to 10-foot cords that allow for measurements in various locations within the cabinet. You can then view the values from the rack PDU interface or send out trap email alerts to warn when certain thresholds have been met or exceeded.
